Leadership & Civic Engagement

Dentistry, practiced well, is a civic act — it restores function, confidence, and dignity to people who can otherwise be quietly left out of ordinary life. That conviction has shaped the second half of Dr. Adatrow’s career as much as clinical work has. Alongside the practice, he represents the profession in organized dentistry, founded a charitable organization to deliver care to patients who cannot afford it, and serves on boards and community initiatives across the Memphis and Southaven region.

Professional Leadership

Mississippi Dental Association - Elected Leadership

Dr. Adatrow has risen through the leadership of the Mississippi Dental Association over a sustained period of elected service — from President-Elect to District President to state-level Alternate Trustee.

Dr. Adatrow’s ascent through the Mississippi Dental Association reflects more than two decades of professional engagement with the dental community of Mississippi. Having established his practice in Southaven in 2016, he quickly became a prominent voice for the dental profession in District 2 — the northern Mississippi region encompassing DeSoto County and the greater Memphis border area.

His election as President of MDA District 2 (July 2025 – July 2026) places him at the helm of one of the MDA’s most active districts — representing the clinical and professional interests of dentists across northern Mississippi. As of July 2026, he serves as Alternate Trustee of the Mississippi Dental Association — a state-level governance role in which he represents District 2 on the MDA Board, contributing to policy-making and advocacy on behalf of the dental profession and patients statewide.

Charitable Organization

Smile Again -Dental Care for Those in Need

Founded by Dr. Adatrow in August 2022, Smile Again is a dental charitable organization dedicated to providing clinical care to underserved populations across the Memphis and Southaven communities.

In August 2022, Dr. Adatrow founded Smile Again — a dental charitable organization built on a simple conviction: access to dental care should not be determined by economic circumstance. He has served as its President since inception, directing volunteer dental care efforts and coordinating clinical resources for communities that lack consistent access to specialty dental services.

Operating across the Memphis and Southaven communities, Smile Again mobilizes dental professionals to provide preventive care, restorative treatment, and oral health education to patients who would otherwise go without. The organization reflects Dr. Adatrow’s belief that a clinician’s responsibility does not end at the practice door.

Smile Again complements Dr. Adatrow’s individual community service efforts — through which he has donated clinical time across six community organizations — by creating a structured, scalable platform for ongoing charitable dental care in the mid-South region.

Donated Care Across Six Community Organizations

Throughout his career, Dr. Adatrow has donated clinical time to underserved populations through community health fairs, free clinics, and charitable dental initiatives across Memphis and Southaven.

Dr. Adatrow’s community service is not a recent addition to his career – it has been a consistent thread running through his two decades of clinical practice. From free dental care at community health fairs to coordinated charitable outreach through Smile Again, he has consistently made time to serve patients who lack access to specialty dental care.

His community service spans faith communities, public health organizations, and school-based programs – reflecting a broad commitment to oral health equity across the socioeconomic spectrum of the greater Memphis and northern Mississippi region.
